The University of Hong Kong is the oldest university in Hong Kong. It will be celebraing its 100th Anniversary in 2011.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China, along with Macau. Covering an area of about 1,104 square km, the territory is located on the eastern side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east, west and south.
